...This is a general post for Paradisa residents, should anyone wish to harass visit or contact Edgeworth ICly. If you are not from Paradisa (I.E., from another game/dressing room, etc), you are welcome to interact with Edgeworth via his Hotel Room.

Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room.  There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

You want me to ask for a five-course breakfast?

Then just a bagel. Believe me, I'm used to getting maybe a slice of toast in the mornings if I'm lucky.

Would you not require something with a bit more...sustenance? Something perhaps a bit more complete?

[sighs, fishes through nightstand's drawer and hands him a notepad]


List whatever you want. Type of bagel, flavour of cream cheese should you want any, whether you would like it toasted, as a sandwich, etc. I am going to the bathroom.

[Wonderful! Let's write some things down, Phoenix, that's not something you're sick of having to do!

With a sigh of his own, he makes his list:


bagel
plain.
cream cheese
plain.
toasted.


And then, because that sounds really incredibly boring, he adds a bit:

smoked salmon.
red onions.
lettuce.]

[You may not have noticed, but he's finished his business and is now looming over you and that list.]


Finished?

Aah!

[Startled AGAIN, he throws the notepad into the air. It sails gracefully to the floor.]

...finished.

[He raises a brow at that reaction, takes the pad, glances over it, and disappears into the upstairs kitchen.

And as usual, the castle works its magic quickly, and within two minutes, Edgeworth is descending the steps with a very large tray. Larger than what one may have expected.
He sets it down next to Phoenix and pulls the white fabric covering away to reveal the order...

...and with a literal request comes literal results.

There is his plain, toasted bagel.
His salmon, nice and smoked.
3 whole, red onions.
A head of lettuce.]



...I assume you wanted the vegetables prepared, somehow.

Just... get me a knife, I'll do it myself....

[Goes back into the kitchen, retrieves knife along with a few other utensils, and two cups of tea.]


I will do it. You drink this.

[takethat]

[This time, he's not arguing. He's still not feeling quite right, and the tea smells good, so he sips it quietly, watching Edgeworth all the while.]

[Ever want to see Edgeworth cry? Because after he's done with breaking apart the lettuce, he's positively tearing up at those onions. Wiping tears away on his sleeves, he chops them up, taking in-between sips of tea, himself.]

[AW HOW CUTE]


You know--chewing on a wooden toothpick while cutting onions helps.

[wipes a tear away and ...sniffs.]


...I doubt you require more than one onion for now.

One's plenty. The castle got a little generous with the veggies...

I suppose that should hold you for now. How is your tea, out of curiosity?

[takethat]

...oh, it's really good. Um, thank you. [He couldn't tell you if it's instant or some kind of elaborate, fancy concoction, but it's good.]

I suppose luck highly favoured you, then. Those types of teas are generally disgusting.

[takethat]

You're beginning to make me wonder if you put poison in it or something.

[Smirk.]

Of course not. It's simply a laxative.

[takethat]

Please tell me you're joking. I can never tell...

...Not at all.


You've been out for an entire week. You must be severely constipated.

I--what--just...

[There are no words. None. He's far too miserable with embarrassment to even try anymore. His lip is trembling because this is some serious business humiliation, though.]

You shouldn't worry. It usually takes at least 4-6 hours. You have plenty of time to relax.
