...This is a general post for Paradisa residents, should anyone wish to harass visit or contact Edgeworth ICly. If you are not from Paradisa (I.E., from another game/dressing room, etc), you are welcome to interact with Edgeworth via ~~his Hotel Room~~.

Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room. There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

I saw. I just simply don't see how it should be a real concern here, since you could simply give it away if you don't like it. I am sure many of the animals here - or perhaps, a pet of yours - might truly appreciate it.

What makes you think I have any pets that would eat something like that?

I can perhaps surmise that you're not from the same place as I. Shawarma is quite commonly found where I come from. One would have to live under a rock to not have at least heard of it.

Maybe I'm just really set in my ways when it comes to food.

Oh, pity. The world is - or worlds, in the case, here - has infinite choices of such wonderful palette-pleasers. Shawarma is just one example. Then, there's roti, donburi, peach-chutney...

[Well screw this. He throws his pen down in a huff.]

[He immediately buries his face into his palm to stifle a laugh.

He then clears his throat.]

I am sorry. I didn't know, really. I simply had...suspicions. You simply confirmed them...quite quicker than I had expected.

[Now he's frustrated with himself and with Edgeworth.]

[After a considerably lengthy pause]

...everything sort of fell all to pieces, didn't it?

...I could have played along had I thought that you truly wished to not speak with me. However, judging by the approach, I figured the truth might have been quite the opposite.

It seems better, for you, if I leave you alone like you want. I don't ever want to upset you again--I just want to do what makes you happy.

Oh, nonsense. Whatever gave you the the impression that leaving me alone is what I want? Surely, I didn't say that.

I think it's the best way to keep myself from worrying about the things you say so much. At least until I can figure out a better way, that is. I don't want to trouble you anymore.

You could have done the same as I - a bit of research. Which leads me to believe that you weren't wholly trying to avoid me. That is besides the point, however...

...Do you remember back home when I'd be so agitated with you - or most people, for that matter - bothering me while I was working? I'd say, 'Get the Hell out of my office, Wright!' and you'd brazenly traipse right on in... I even threw a paper ball at you, once...

[His mind is blazing, all flame and screaming "you broke my heart, can't you see that?" Desperately, he fights to keep his tone calm and devoid of any of that.]

I always thought "asking someone you know will be educated on a certain topic" was a form of research. In any case, I do remember what you're talking about. This is different.

[He'd comment more on that, but... this is no time poke Phoenix more than he'd already been.]

When you think on it, by appearance, it really isn't very different - underlying reasons aside. Anyway, I brought that up because it seemed to me that you've always had a knack for doing quite the opposite of what I ask - be it barging into my office when I yell at you to 'go away,' or avoiding me when I ask you to 'stay.'

I am beginning to believe that I should get into the habit of expressing the contrary of what I wish for.
