Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room. There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

Very well, then.

[He languidly strolls off to the side, arms crossed behind his back, eyes pretending to inspect the ceiling. He then turns around swiftly, leaning in behind Phoenix, his face inches away from Phoenix's left ear.]

...But that's because you have a very merciful prosecutor for a friend. Don't think I'm completely in the dark about what you do behind my back, Phoenix Wright.

[He jumps and flinches away from Edgeworth--because the space just behind his left ear happens to be very sensitive and ticklish, not that Edgeworth need ever know that.]

Y-yeah but! No! What, don't do that!

[And he's reduced to such eloquence once again.]

...Hmph.

...I'll go get Veritas.

[Scratching behind his ear to get rid of that tickle.]

I can get her. She's in my room after all...

I thought I'd do so while you enjoy your beer.

This beer is coming with me, because I'll probably need it before the night is over.

...Be sure to bring four more, then.

[He flags down a server and asks for another four.]

[Chuckles.]

...I wasn't serious, you know.

No, no. I thought it was some sound advice.

Anyway, it is quite late. Are you set, now?

[Arms laden with his five beers, he nods.]

Other than getting Vera for you and feeding Magikarp before I go, yes.

[Attempts to lighten Phoenix's load by taking some of the beers.]

Let's be on our way.

[SO FAST FORWARD and shit TO WALKING TO THE CITY, LAWL. Accompanied by Vera. Edgeworth points. It's dark, but perhaps he can make it out...]

That's it up ahead.

[Phoenix can see it well enough to feel an increasingly familiar sinking sensation in the pit of his stomach--this place is all kinds of fancy, particularly in comparison to the cheap motels he himself has had to stay in a few times in his life. He shoots Edgeworth a nervous sort of grin.]

S-so this is where you've been staying, huh? It's very... "you."

...Really? I am not very partial about the countless amounts of flowers all about. But it's comfortable.

You think? The flowers are the best part... I like them.

I...see. Remind me to get you a bouquet next time.

[And two flights of stairs later, he opens the door to his room.]

[Ooh, it looks so comfortable and clean and fresh... and Phoenix does what any self-respecting man who isn't accustomed to expensive hotels would do.

He flops dramatically face-down onto the bed and snuggles the comforter.]

[Well...That's rather cute. Normally, Edgeworth would say something along the lines of, 'Who gave you permission to take over my bed?' But this time, he simply watches him and smiles...]

[Wait no that's kinda creepy. He watches and smiles like this, instead.]

[A moment later, he seems to realize what he's doing and squirms off the bed and back to his feet again.]

Sorry... I guess I messed up your bed. But I've just never been in a hotel like this before--it's so nice...

[And now he's gaping around at the room.]
