Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room.  There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

[He goes into the kitchen, and in about ten minutes, he emerges with a large bowl of various types of sliced fruit - honeydew, cantaloupe, apples, grapes, mangoes, pears, starfruit, dragon fruit, strawberries... and a bandaid on the middle digit of his left hand.

He silently places the bowl of fruit on the small table.]

[In the meantime, waiting for Edgeworth to return with the fruit, Phoenix has been up and about, trying to see about walking on his own again. He's starting to get the hang of it a little bit better, all things considered. He's on his feet when Edgeworth comes back, but he plunks down on the sofa once more, reaching for a pear.]

...did you cut your finger?

...Yes.

[takethat]

...are you okay?

[cantacquityou]

It is just a cut. [sits and pops a piece of honeydew into his mouth.]

[He munches on his pear in silence.

Oh. It's still kind of awkward all up in here.]

[Just then, Vera patters back into the room.]

[Edgeworth eyes her suspiciously as he begins to navigate another piece of honeydew to his lips, hoping she wouldn't pull off another stunt like that again. Instead, she places her forepaws on the table and wags her tail expectantly.]

[He then feeds her said piece of fruit.]

[That would've been kind of endearing, except for one thing.]

Now she's going to think you're rewarding her for jumping on me.

She is far more intelligent that you might think, Wright.

[takethat]

I just don't want her getting the idea it's okay to knock me over all the time.

Then tell her. [feeds her another]

You tell her. She's your dog thing.

...She probably was trying to communicate something to you, hence why she targeted you.

I'm afraid I didn't really learn anything from being pushed into you.

[haha yeah right]

...She has her ways, albiet rather strange.

[takethat]

Hmph.

[With a little huff, he picks up a piece of starfruit. He's never had it before, so he pops it into his mouth to give it a try, and pulls a face at how sour it is.]

[He whistles, calling her over and patting her on the head.]

This here is Phoenix. He is my good friend - do you understand? Be nice to him. Yes?


[She yips]

[takethat]

[Again... this is kind of endearing. Phoenix smiles, just a little.]

Ah... thanks.

[cantacquityou]

[He gets up.]


...Well, I suppose it is time for us to go.

[takethat]

What? Where are you going?

[cantacquityou]

...For a walk.

[takethat]

...what am I supposed to do?

I don't really want to be all alone in here...

[But no, he's not going to come right out and say he wants you to stay and keep him company, either.]
