Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room.  There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

...Is it, now? It seems as though you indeed had something of the sort in mind.

That's so subjective--what you consider "humiliating" I might not.

Of course. I was merely referring to what I'd typically find humiliating. Though, I don't see how it matters, considering that I would be more inclined to select 'Truth,' and there really isn't anything I can think of that I'd be ashamed to share with you, at this point.

[Might as well give Edgeworth a real preteen question for this silly game he's cheating in.]

[He knows the context of which Phoenix is asking, and...to be quite honest, in that very context, he would have to think on it for a bit...but for now, at least...he'll just be himself...

Ah! I've always been rather curious about this. Having no car, how on Earth do you conceal and transport all of the evidence that you utilize in court? Have you some sort of Hammerspace Breeches from which you pull 'The Thinker' out of at will?

[He smirks and gives Edgeworth a playful nudge--maybe a little touching is okay, now that his mood seems to be lifted a bit?]

Does that mean you're letting me win?

I was unaware that this was a competition.

...I may regret this, but I am actually quite curious...perhaps morbidly so. Shall I say, 'Dare'?

Oh, Miles--everything is a competition.

[And competing with Edgeworth makes his eyes gleam.]

I dare you to initiate a hug.

...Is that it? Nothing more? There are no further...[he languidly twirls a finger]...stipulations?

I wasn't going to make any, but since you asked... it has to be with a human. An adult human. None of your pet things!

[No, Edgeworth doesn't have to hug Phoenix... if he'd rather go out into the hall and hug a random passerby, that is.]
