...This is a general post for Paradisa residents, should anyone wish to harass visit or contact Edgeworth ICly. If you are not from Paradisa (I.E., from another game/dressing room, etc), you are welcome to interact with Edgeworth via his Hotel Room.

Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room.  There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

Hey!!

[He flounders like a Magikarp and faceplants soundly in Edgeworth's chest.

And doesn't move, because he's more afraid of seeing Edgeworth's face right now than having an eyeful of pink pajamas.]

[...She then clamors onto Phoenix's back, and sits.

...Like a Boss.]

[Why do these things always happen to him?!?

He sighs. That's really all he can do.]

Veritas! What is the meaning of this?! Get down this instant!

[And for the first time, she disobeys Edgeworth and stays there. She barks happily.]

[Muffled]

Can you do something with your dog thing?

[Edgeworth smells good. Now is not the time to be noticing that, but it's hard not to in this position.]

I'm trying.


{So. There is a Phoenix laying on top of him. This is certainly not arousing awkward at all.]

[And with that, she hops off.]

[When he feels the weight lift off his back, he sighs and goes about trying to sit up. Which really kind of only complicates their position a little more before he manages to succeed.

He's been closer to Miles Edgeworth's chest today than he ever expected.]

What... why... why did she do that??

I do not...know. I really...do not know...


[Needless to say, he is visibly flustered...He rests his (heated) cheek into the palm of his hand in a partial attempt to conceal his chagrin, and his fingers nervously tap upon the arm of the couch.]

[Phoenix is equally flustered, and fusses about adjusting his robe after this... incident. The last thing he wants now is to be seen naked again today. He shoots a dirty look at Vera, but stays silent, searching frantically for something to say and not landing on a thing.]

[She barks happily]


...I-I apologize. She has never done anything like that, before...


[might be crossing his legs a bit]

[SCANDALOUS lolol]








...it's okay. Don't worry about it.

[cantacquityou]

[he then stands up abruptly.]



Fruit!


You should have some fruit. I will get you some.

[takethat]

Definitely! Fruit! That sounds great!

[He's still pretty full from the bagel he had earlier, but anything to break up this awkward tension...]

[cantacquityou]

[He goes into the kitchen, and in about ten minutes, he emerges with a large bowl of various types of sliced fruit - honeydew, cantaloupe, apples, grapes, mangoes, pears, starfruit, dragon fruit, strawberries... and a bandaid on the middle digit of his left hand.

He silently places the bowl of fruit on the small table.]

[In the meantime, waiting for Edgeworth to return with the fruit, Phoenix has been up and about, trying to see about walking on his own again. He's starting to get the hang of it a little bit better, all things considered. He's on his feet when Edgeworth comes back, but he plunks down on the sofa once more, reaching for a pear.]

...did you cut your finger?

[cantacquityou]

...Yes.

[takethat]

...are you okay?

[cantacquityou]

...



It is just a cut. [sits and pops a piece of honeydew into his mouth.]

[takethat]

[He munches on his pear in silence.

Oh. It's still kind of awkward all up in here.]

[cantacquityou]

[Just then, Vera patters back into the room.]

[Edgeworth eyes her suspiciously as he begins to navigate another piece of honeydew to his lips, hoping she wouldn't pull off another stunt like that again. Instead, she places her forepaws on the table and wags her tail expectantly.]

[He then feeds her said piece of fruit.]

[takethat]

[That would've been kind of endearing, except for one thing.]

Now she's going to think you're rewarding her for jumping on me.

She is far more intelligent that you might think, Wright.

[takethat]

I just don't want her getting the idea it's okay to knock me over all the time.

[cantacquityou]

Then tell her. [feeds her another]

You tell her. She's your dog thing.
