...This is a general post for Paradisa residents, should anyone wish to harass visit or contact Edgeworth ICly. If you are not from Paradisa (I.E., from another game/dressing room, etc), you are welcome to interact with Edgeworth via his Hotel Room.

Room at various angles.

...Because Edgeworth is very well-off, there will be no question that he will request as much from the castle as he can to feel 'at home.' Therefore, his room will be inspired by a room of one of his favourite hotel suites - the Hazlitts in Soho, London. The hotel room is a bit smaller than it appears in the picture, but is extremely richly furnished and decorated. However, with opulence comes a price, as usual, and because of Edgeworth's fastidious tastes, the castle will inflict upon him at least one temporary loss per month. Unbeknownst to Edgeworth, of course.

At any given time, there will be a book or two on the bed, and others placed sporadically at various crevasses within the room.  There is another, smaller partition of the room containing a couch, small table, and chair. There are a pair of small speakers, a heated blanket, a small fridge with at least two wine bottles, and a heating apparatus that doesn't emit microwaves. There's also a burgundy/blue chess set. There's no television, no futon, and of course, no Oldbag . There is a black box on the desk that requires not only a key to be opened, but a sliding puzzle to be solved. There's also a medium-sized kitchen. The bathroom is nothing particularly fascinating, as he doesn't spend enough time in there to feel the need to expend too much effort in decorating it, and it is much smaller than one may expect after seeing the room. There is, however, a clean bathtub lined with a few red/gold, unused candles.

[He distantly takes the proffered towel.]

I passed out? Huh... I remember I was going to open the door and let some of the steam out of here...

[He turns his head away, allowing Phoenix the time to cover up.]


That was nearly 15 minutes ago. I heard the door crack open then.

[He climbs out of the tub and wraps the towel around his waist, and then promptly sits on his knees on the floor.]

That bath had some weird effects on me... the room is spinning and I see a monster dog thing...

Veritas. Go to the kitchen, please.


[The growlithe leaves, and Edgeworth crouches down besides Phoenix.]


...I see why I was instructed to keep an eye on you.

[takethat]

[His face is flushed far more from embarrassment now than from the heat of the bath.]

Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm a big wimp.

I was unaware that recovering from a week-long coma somehow makes you a, 'wimp.'


[He eases himself up and towards the closet, pulling out a white robe. He returns, crouches once more and drapes it over Phoenix's shoulders.]

...thanks.

[He pulls his sleeves through the robe and ties it up.]

I guess I see why you're on babysitting duty for me now, too.

[He won't admit this, but it's dawned on him that he could've, you know, drowned from passing out in the tub alone like that, and it's a sobering thought.]

[Oh, great. Because Edgeworth was JUST about to remind him.]


...And if it were not for that, 'monster dog-thing,' you may as well have drowned in there.

I'm aware of that.
[And he'd rather not think about it.]








So tell your creepy dog I said thanks.

...You really should be a little more courteous. After all, she did save your life.

...You certainly are indecorously irritable today.

I keep almost dying. You'd be irritable too.

...A bit frightened, perhaps. But not irritable. After all, who, or what is there to be irritable at?

...Come. Let us get you seated.

[Grumbling, he gets up and adjusts the robe a little better.]

Yeah, okay... whatever you say.

[cantacquityou]

[...He recalled repeatedly reading that people recently out of a comatose state tended to be easily irritated and confused, so he decides that this is perhaps high time to simply 'man-up' and ignore Phoenix's peevishness, tone down his own, and simply attempt to be 'nicer' for his recovering friend's sake - whatever that means at the moment. Let's see how long this can last...]

Hmph.

[He places a hand on Phoenix's back in an attempt to simultaneously support and steer him towards the couch.]

[It's a nice thought, Edgey. Maybe you can make it to the next room without getting into an argument with each other.]








What am I supposed to do all day if I can't even walk around without keeling over? [Shuffle shuffle]

[Don't mind him falling silent now. He's just going to wonder why Edgeworth talking about his eyes is making him feel weird. Don't worry, he won't get there. Anytime soon.]
